The small Kentish hamlet of Wita, depicted as it may have appeared in around AD1225 after tragedy had already struck. Surrounded by vast marshland and never-ending fog, this is no longer a hospitable place but rather, an abode of timeless mystery seemingly designed to be forlorn.
